2.3 Ecosystems Ecosystems of the coastal strip are in three mediums: water, near-water and land. Water ecosystems are marine and fresh-water, the latter in its turn consist of fluvial and lake ecosystems. However fluvial ecosystems at present are intensively changed by economical activity of man and turned out into agrosenoz and inhabited areas ecosystems. On the whole up to 70% of territory of the coastal zone lost the primary natural quality and turned into anthropogenic landscapes: winter and all the year round pastures, hayfields, ploughed fields, plantations and gardens, transport arteries and populated areas. 2.3.1.
