Activities undertaken during the reporting period:

• The five national and the regional coastal profile are complete.

• The Caspian ITCAMP guidelines to be tested in the ITCAMP pilot projects have been prepared in English.

• Pledges from the Dutch and Austrian Governments have meant that the first CEP ITCAMP pilot located in Rhast province in Iran can commence – a full work programme has been developed and contracts are to be issued shortly. A pilot project for the Neftchala province in Azerbaijan has been developed and funding is being sought.

Activities to be undertaken in the next three months:

• The pilot project in Rhast will be established and initial training will be given by Philip Tortell. We hope to secure funding for the Neftchala project and begin fund raising for the pilot projects in Russian Federation and Turkmenistan.
